Here are some of the most common questions we get asked at IGLOO Cleaning Services:

Q: How will your service work?

A: IGLOO Cleaning Services supply you with a free no obligation quote which can in most cases be provided over the phone. If you are satisfied with the quote you can then contact our office to arrange for our fully uniformed and insured cleaner(s) to come to your home and complete the clean on an agreed date.

Q: What cleaning services do you provide?

A: You can book either a Regular Cleaning Service or a One-Off clean. The frequency of our regular cleaning service can be to suit you: Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly.

Q: What happens with a Regular Cleaning Service?

A: Regular Clean:

All Rooms
Vacuum all carpets throughout. Wash all floors. Clean and polish all mirrors, vacuum furniture, including under any cushions. Empty and clean any ashtrays and wastebaskets. Dust: lamps, furniture, woodwork, picture frames, shelves and skirting boards. Remove cobwebs.

Kitchen
Clean all appliances, worktops, cupboard doors, tables and chairs. Clean cooker top, refrigerator top and exterior. Clean microwave oven inside and out. Clean sinks, sanitize worktops and backsplashes. Wash floor.

Bathrooms
Clean showers, bath and sinks. Clean and sanitize sink tops and toilets. Clean mirrors. Polish chrome. Wash floors and tile walls.


Plus we Deep Clean one nominated room on every visit
Each time IGLOO cleans your home, we will carry out a few extra tasks such as cleaning the inside of windows in a nominated room which is done in rotation. With the regular IGLOO cleaning service your home will be spring clean fresh all the time.

Initial Clean
When you first book our regular cleaning service we carry out a longer initial clean to really make sure your house is to a high cleaning standard from the start. Because of the extra time required we charge just a little extra for the initial clean. 


Q: Do I need to sign a contract for domestic cleaning?
A: No, there is no contractual agreement between us, we prefer to keep you as a customer by continuing to provide you with a quality service and satisfying all your requirements. 

Q: When will my home be cleaned?

A: Your home will be cleaned on a date specified by you.  We cannot give a specific time for your clean however you can specify if you would prefer a morning, afternoon or early evening clean.

Q: Who will be cleaning my home?

A: Your home will be cleaned by member(s) of our fully trained, uniformed and fully insured IGLOO Cleaning Team.  IGLOO Cleaners must comply with all Health and Safety regulations meaning they are not permitted to eat, smoke or use any of your appliances whilst cleaning your home.

Q: Do I need to provide any cleaning products or equipment?

A: No, everything required to carry out the clean is provided by IGLOO

Q: What if I have something of sentimental value or that can be damaged by cleaning products?

A: We adhere to all requirements and therefore if you inform us of any items which are of sentimental value or which may be damaged from household cleaning products we will follow your instructions in relation to the item(s) to satisfy the specified requirements.

Q: How do I pay for IGLOO Cleaning Services?

A: If you require a regular clean, a payment can be made at the time of each clean.  The payment can be made by cheque, cash or by setting up a standing order. Payment for an initial or one off clean can be made by Credit or Debit card by calling 07801 399986.

Q: What if I need to cancel a clean?

A: If you provide us with 7 days notice (but not less than 2 days) the clean can be cancelled, just call the IGLOO team on 07801 399986.  If less than 2 days notice is received you will be charged 50% of the cleaning fee.

Q: What if my specified clean is due on a public holiday?

A: We will contact you at least 7 days beforehand to make alternative arrangements for your clean.

Q: If you have the keys to my home where are they kept and are they secure?

A: All client keys are securely kept using an individual code number. The key to this number is kept separate from the keys.

Q: What if the cleaners break something in my home? 

A: IGLOO  are fully insured for breakages. We always take great care when cleaning your home however if anything is broken during the clean the head cleaner will leave you a note explaining what happened. Our cleaning manager will then contact you as soon as possible.
